Job Title: Contract Systems Engineer (Microsoft M365 Specialist)
Location: Hybrid - Eden Prairie, MN (Minimum 50% onsite)
Contract Duration: 2 Months (Leave coverage)
Start Date: ASAP
Rate: $48-62/hour

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Systems Engineer for a short-term contract to provide critical support while a team member is on leave. This role is heavily focused on the Microsoft M365 ecosystem, including Active Directory, Entra ID, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Places. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, capable of owning complex projects with minimal oversight, and will be instrumental in supporting a potential M365 tenant-to-tenant migration.

Candidates must be local to the Minneapolis-Saint. Paul, MN area to be considered. Candidates must also be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. No C2C or third parties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert-level support and administration across the Microsoft M365 platform.


• Lead or support a potential M365 tenant-to-tenant migration using BitTitan.


• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration during a potential acquisition.


• Serve as a backup for critical infrastructure systems including:




• WatchGuard firewalls


• Aruba switches


• SSO integrations




• Troubleshoot and resolve Level 3 issues independently.


• Participate in knowledge transfer and onboarding with the current engineer prior to their leave.


• Maintain strong documentation and communication throughout the engagement.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Systems Engineer with a focus on Microsoft M365.


• Deep knowledge of Active Directory, Entra ID, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and related services.


• Hands-on experience with BitTitan MigrationWiz or similar tools for M365 migrations.


• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently.


• Excellent communication and documentation skills.


• Ability to work onsite in Eden Prairie, MN at least 2-3 days per week (more during the first week or two).

Nice to Have:

• Experience with WatchGuard firewalls, Aruba switches, and SSO integrations.


• Background in IT integrations.

• This is a high-impact role requiring someone who can hit the ground running and contribute immediately.
