Description
We are looking for an IT Audit Senior Consultant to join our team in Hammonton, New Jersey. This role focuses on evaluating technology systems, identifying risks, and delivering tailored solutions to enhance organizational performance. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise in IT frameworks, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies to provide strategic advice and foster strong client relationships.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments of IT systems and processes to identify risks and areas for improvement.
Evaluate IT general controls, cybersecurity measures, data governance practices, and technology resilience within client organizations.
Perform audits on cloud technologies, enterprise applications, and disaster recovery processes to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
Develop and implement audit plans, including process flows, work programs, and detailed reports.
Provide expert guidance on emerging technologies and analytics to help clients optimize their operations.
Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and deliver tailored technology solutions.
Lead teams in executing audit engagements, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to timelines.
Cultivate strong relationships with clients across various industries and act as a trusted advisor.
Translate complex technology issues into actionable insights for client stakeholders, including executives.
Mentor and supervise team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Requirements
Proven experience in IT auditing methodologies and delivering audit-related documentation such as reports and process summaries.
Familiarity with internal control frameworks such as COBIT and ISO 27001.
Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley Act provisions, particularly those related to technology compliance.
Exposure to cybersecurity, cloud technologies, data governance, privacy, and enterprise applications like Oracle, Salesforce, or Microsoft Dynamics.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to organize, interpret, and summarize data effectively.
Excellent communication skills to present complex audit findings to clients and executives.
Experience in team leadership, including mentoring and coordinating across diverse teams.
Proficiency in accounting software systems, audit programs, and relevant tools like CaseWare and CCH ProSystem Fx.
