Job Details

We are looking for an experienced IBM ODM Developer/Consultant to design, develop, and implement business rules and decision automation solutions using IBM Operational Decision Manager. The role involves working closely with business analysts and stakeholders to translate business policies into executable rules, ensuring consistency, compliance, and agility in decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, and implement IBM ODM rule-based applications.

  • Develop and manage business rules, decision tables, and rule flows using Decision Center and Rule Execution Server.

  • Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into ODM solutions.

  • Integrate ODM with enterprise applications, APIs, and databases.

  • Perform testing, debugging, and optimization of rule applications.

  • Provide support for production deployments, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.

  • Create and maintain technical documentation, standards, and best practices.

  • Stay current with ODM enhancements and recommend improvements to business rule management processes.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

  • 3 6+ years of experience in IBM ODM development and implementation.

  • Strong knowledge of Decision Center, Decision Server, and Rule Designer.

  • Hands-on experience with business rule management, decision automation, and event processing.

  • Proficiency in Java/J2EE, REST/SOAP Web Services, and database integration (SQL/DB2/Oracle).

  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.

  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

  • IBM ODM certification (preferred).
