UAT Lead Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a UAT Lead for a contract position in Naperville, IL. The opportunity will be three months with a strong chance for a long-term extension. As a key player, you will perform essential business testing on technical solutions to ensure that new products, processes, learning programs, or other technical changes introduced to customers and/or employees meet business requirements. Your role is crucial in reducing risk by identifying and fixing problems before production, helping projects achieve expected benefits, and addressing regulatory requirements. Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

Perform user acceptance testing for projects of various complexities, including developing and managing the test strategy, creating and reviewing test cases for traceability, executing test cases, escalating issues, logging outcomes, facilitating defect meetings, reviewing and validating defect resolutions, and developing the exit report.
- Coordinate the appropriate parties to execute the overall test plan for projects, including identifying key participants, providing estimates on the UAT cycle, determining the UAT schedule, prioritizing test execution, monitoring test progress, and escalating as required.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to provide business context in the design, development, and implementation of UAT solutions.
- Act as a trusted advisor to assigned business/group and make recommendations based on the Enterprise UAT Operating Guideline and Process and Industry best practices.
- Develop and lead the strategy of UAT across various projects, typically for large and complex projects.
- Design and produce regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards.
- Lead or participate in defining the communication plan designed to positively influence or change behavior, develop tailored messaging, and identify appropriate distribution channels.
- Manage significantly more business users to perform testing based on the complexity of the projects supported.
- Develop UAT solutions and make recommendations based on an understanding of the business strategy and stakeholder needs.
- Provide advice and guidance on the implementation of UAT solutions.
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of end-to-end business processes and project requirements through close partnership with business/group stakeholders.
- Lead or participate in change management activities of varying scope and type.
- Monitor and track UAT performance results and address any issues.
Qualifications:
- 8 years of software testing experience in close coordination with Business stakeholders
- Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Project Delivery Framework
- Experience in Financial/Banking domain
- Expertise in testing processes for Waterfall and Agile projects
- Good understanding of Test Automation frameworks
- Experience with Test Management tools like ALM, JIRA
