We are looking for Server Engineer for our client in Spring, TX
Job Title: Server Engineer
Job Type: Contract
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Manage and support Windows virtual machines: insuring optimal performance, security, and availability.
- Utilize VMware 7.0 for environment virtualization, configuring, and maintaining virtual infrastructure, as well as bare-metal Nutanix installs in air-gapped environments on DELL equipment.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for DELL computer hardware
- Perform performance monitoring, analysis, and reporting using SolarWinds or similar tools
- Administer and maintain Active Directory services, including user/group management, DNS and access controls.
- Collaborate with internal business units and cybersecurity partners to address technical issues and implement solutions.
- Develop and maintain documentation for server configurations, procedures, and best practices".
- Server project work, on-call rotation, troubleshooting remote servers.
- Windows server building, troubleshooting, patching, reconfiguration and forensic experience.
- Experience in current virtualization technology VMware 7.0 and any substantive Nutanix experience.
- PowerShell scripting and documentation experience.
- Nutanix experience.
- Linux experience.
- ADO experience.
