Title: Systems Analyst
Location: Miami, FL or Dallas, TX or Bentonville, AR
Duration: 3+ month contract to hire
Compensation: $30-40

Systems Analyst I

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test scripts on software applications based on software requirements and technical specifications.
• Record and document testing results and compare to expected results.
• Detect software failures so that defects may be discovered and corrected.
• Researching prior enhancements made to the software in order to understand expected performance.
• Documenting new enhancements clearly and concisely so that associates can understand what changes are being made to the software applications and understand how it affects the work.
• Provide application instruction and support for associates.
• Ensure compliance with recordkeeping by following department procedures for documentation retention of all enhancements made to the software applications.
• Help create technical documentation (process flows, specifications, development tasks)
• Implement software development life cycle for all project steps and phases and provide technical support during each phase.
• Contribute to creating a positive team environment and fostering team culture in a fast-paced setting.
• Utilize communication skills, both written and verbal, to present complex information clearly and concisely.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Cultivate a detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.

Skills

• Mortgage Lending Experience (Operations or Production), 5 years preferred, 2 years required.
• Hands-on experience in Quality Assurance Testing, User Acceptance Testing, or a comparable role within a technology organization whether through employment or internship is desirable.
• Basic experience/knowledge is required of all or some of the following: Encompass Loan Origination System

Additional Requirements

• Basic quantitative and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office
• Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely.
• Ability to work collaboratively with team members and establish cooperative working relationships.
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing environments and tasks.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
• Basic problem-solving skills with the ability to gather and analyze information.
