Sr Network Engineer – DMVPN & Data Center Migration
Contract-to-hire
MUST HAVE SKILLS:
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering or network operations.
- Deep understanding of Cisco routing and switching, with strong working knowledge of Arista platforms.
- Proficiency with DMVPN
- DMVPN (Dynamic Multipoint Virtual Private Network) is a Cisco-developed solution for building scalable, secure, and dynamic VPNs over the internet, combining hub-and-spoke with full-mesh capabilities for efficient site-to-site communication using technologies like mGRE, NHRP, and IPsec. It simplifies configuration by allowing spokes (branch offices) to use dynamic IPs and establish direct tunnels to each other, bypassing the hub for better performance, making it ideal for connecting remote offices securely and cost-effectively.
Preferred Skills:
- Prior experience in healthcare or distributed enterprise environments.
- Prior experience with data center and colocation transitions.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNP or Arista ACE.
