What You Will Be Doing
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead to join our Combat Systems Sensor Systems Electro-Optical Sensors team in Fort Worth, Texas. As a Technical Lead, you will lead a team of engineers with varying backgrounds, fostering innovation, technical leadership, and program execution in the sensors domain. You will manage complex technical projects, allocate work assignments, and provide guidance and mentorship to team members.
Key Responsibilities
Lead a team of engineers in the development of complex applications for advanced aircraft systems
Manage complex technical projects with input from program leadership
Coordinate with multiple stakeholders, including program management, technical leads, suppliers, and customers
Allocate work assignments to team members, leveraging their skills and long-term goals
Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, including on-the-job training and mentoring
Ensure team members have meaningful day-to-day tasking in support of program performance plans
Responsible for delivery of quality work products for technical scope
Ensure relevant engineering processes are followed by the team
Identify opportunities for digital transformation (DT) and facilitate knowledge
The selected candidate must have or be able to obtain a final DoD Secret security clearance prior to start of work, must maintain a DoD Secret clearance and be able to obtain and maintain a SAP/SAR clearance.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
Familiarity with Avionics, EW/CM, Radar, CNI, EO/IR Sensors or Fusion Systems
Strong Electro-Optical Systems Engineering Development and Integration Skills.
Exceptional interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
Strong organizational skills - ability to oversee multiple tasks simultaneously; ability to identify and resolve task conflicts and issues.
Desired skills
Laboratory, Field and Flight Test of Electro Optic, Infrared and/or Laser Systems experience on defense contracts.
Familiarity with engineering oversight of supplier(s).
Fundamental understanding of Electro Optic, Infrared and/or Laser Systems with experience testing/troubleshooting sensors, sensor systems or avionics using various types of test equipment.
Professional and interpersonal communication skills required to interface with individuals from various disciplines while performing complex serial and parallel tasks required to successfully deliver support equipment products to our customer
Demonstrated ability to deal with highly complex and challenging electronic systems
Problem solving and project planning experience
Experience with Military or Government Programs
Experience interfacing with customers and subcontractors.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $134,000 - $236,325. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.
