Director of EPMO

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Jacksonville, FL that is seeking a Director of Project Management - a senior leader in the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO). This role is responsible for leading a team of project managers and ensuring large, complex initiatives across the company are delivered successfully. The Director will work closely with executives, set project management standards, and help turn business strategy into measurable results.

Duties Include:
* Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of project managers
* Oversee planning and delivery of complex, cross-functional projects and programs that align with company goals
* Establish and improve project management processes, tools, and best practices across the organization
* Manage large portfolios and programs with significant budgets, ensuring they meet executive priorities
* Translate executive vision into clear, actionable projects that deliver results
* Track timelines, budgets, resources, risks, and outcomes to ensure projects stay on track
* Monitor and review project manager performance, ensuring quality work and consistent use of EPMO standards
* Act as a trusted advisor to executives by identifying risks and recommending solutions
* Build strong relationships with stakeholders and business leaders across the company
* Define success metrics with business and technical partners and ensure measurable outcomes
* Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including preparing and delivering presentations for executives and the board
* Promote the use of consistent project management practices across the organization
* Use advanced tools to analyze project data and support decision-making
* Lead by example with integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to excellence
* Ensure accuracy and quality in all project deliverables
* Maintain oversight and accountability for all projects in the team's portfolio

REQUIREMENTS:
* To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
* Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
