Technical Lead - Embedded Software (Aerospace | Onsite in Santa Barbara, CA
We're working with a client building cutting-edge systems at the intersection of hardware, autonomy, and embedded software, and they're looking for a Technical Lead to drive embedded development for aerospace-grade systems.
This is a hands-on role engineering combined with technical team leadership. Ideal for someone who's led embedded projects, and is ready to help shape team direction and growth in an industry defining team.

What You'll Do:
- Lead the design and development of real-time embedded software for flight-critical systems
- Manage and mentor a small team of engineers - guiding architecture, code quality, and development processes
- Collaborate cross-functionally with hardware, systems, and test teams to integrate software into the full product stack
- Take full lifecycle ownership - from prototyping to deployment and operational readiness
What They're Looking For:
- Strong experience in embedded systems (Rust OR C, C++), ideally but not required, in aerospace or high-reliability domains
- Deep understanding of real-time systems, concurrency, SoC Architectures & Bare-Metal environments.
- Proven experience in people management .
- Comfortable working onsite in Santa Barbara, CA. In-person collaboration is essential
