Job Title: Principal Dynamics 365 Sales Mentor & Advisor (Part-Time Contract)

Overview:
We're looking for a Principal Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales Consultant to serve as a high-level mentor and trusted advisor to our internal team. This isn't just about technical expertise; it's about sharing seasoned wisdom. You'll guide our team through the intricacies of a Dynamics 365 Sales implementation within a highly regulated environment, helping them preempt challenges, establish robust processes, and ensure a successful, compliant rollout.
This role is ideal for a Dynamics 365 veteran who has not only mastered the Sales module but also navigated the complexities unique to the aerospace or defense sector. You'll be instrumental in shaping our approach to data, functionality, and business requirements, acting as a critical sounding board and sharing best practices to avoid common pitfalls.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead & Mentor: Provide hands-on mentorship and strategic guidance to our internal team throughout the Dynamics 365 Sales implementation lifecycle.
  • Best Practice Evangelist: Guide the team in adopting best practices for data strategy, data cleansing, system configuration, and user adoption.
  • Process Architect: Help define and document scalable, repeatable processes and procedures, transforming existing data into structured, efficient workflows.
  • Proactive Problem-Solver: Leverage your extensive experience to identify, anticipate, and help the team mitigate potential roadblocks, inefficiencies, and compliance challenges.
  • Strategic Alignment: Support the definition of clear business requirements, ensuring seamless alignment with Dynamics 365 system capabilities within a regulated framework.
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME): Act as the primary Dynamics 365 Sales SME, offering expert insights and serving as a key resource for internal stakeholders across various functions.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Facilitate effective collaboration between technical and non-technical teams to ensure smooth integration and successful organizational adoption.

Preferred Background & Qualifications:
  • Deep Dynamics 365 Sales Expertise: Extensive, proven experience in implementing, optimizing, and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 with a profound focus on the Sales module.
  • Regulated Industry Experience: Demonstrable experience working within DoD, aerospace, or other government-regulated environments.
  • Government Cloud Acumen: Strong understanding of the specific limitations and compliance requirements inherent in Government Cloud (GCCC High/DoD) environments, including how standard features (e.g., automatic tracking, business card scanning) may behave differently due to security restrictions.
  • Strategic CRM & Data Management: Exceptional knowledge of CRM strategy, robust data management principles, and sophisticated business process design.
  • Mentorship & Communication: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and communicate complex technical and strategic concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Flexible Engagement: Comfortable operating in a flexible, part-time advisory capacity.
