Job Overview:
We are seeking a visionary Director of Salesforce Engineering to lead the strategic roadmap, development, and operations of our enterprise CRM systems. This role is ideal for a hands-on technology leader with a proven track record of scaling Salesforce implementations, building high-performing engineering teams, and leading digital transformation across global, high-growth organizations. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to support Sales, Marketing, Service, and Partner platforms while ensuring compliance, scalability, and innovation across multiple Salesforce orgs.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the architecture, development, and governance of enterprise Salesforce platforms, supporting over 13 Salesforce orgs including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Pardot, and CPQ.
Direct and mentor a team of Salesforce engineers, administrators, product managers, and DevOps specialists across multiple time zones.
Own and execute on long-term Salesforce strategy and enterprise system architecture in collaboration with C-level executives.
Oversee complex Salesforce integrations using MuleSoft, Azure Event Bus, and REST/SOAP APIs with platforms such as NetSuite, Zuora, Genesys, and internal systems.
Implement and maintain robust compliance and SOX audit controls across CRM systems, including change management, security administration, and SDLC processes.
Drive CRM program KPIs, user adoption, and license optimization efforts using Salesforce Analytics and third-party tools like Gainsight, LeanData, and Flosum.
Manage vendor relationships and lead technical evaluations for new CRM-related platforms.
Lead CI/CD, release management, and DevOps using tools such as GitHub, Copado, and Gearset.
Support pre-IPO compliance initiatives and enterprise risk management requirements.
Spearhead enterprise CRM projects supporting diverse business units (e.g., Ad Sales, Field Service, Alexa Devices, and B2B initiatives).
Drive innovation by researching emerging technologies and Salesforce ecosystem advancements (Einstein, LWC, Heroku, Slack integrations).
Qualifications:
<>Required:</>13+ years of Salesforce platform experience including architecture, development, and administration.
5+ years in a leadership role managing high-performing engineering or CRM application teams.
Demonstrated success with global multi-org Salesforce environments and enterprise-grade Salesforce implementations.
Hands-on experience with Salesforce Apex, LWC, SOQL, Visualforce, MuleSoft, and Marketing Cloud.
Deep understanding of Salesforce integration patterns and enterprise middleware tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Jitterbit).
Strong experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and modern DevOps toolchains (Copado, CircleCI, GitHub, Rollbar).
Experience driving SOX-compliance or pre-IPO readiness initiatives.
Bachelor's in Engineering or related field; Master s preferred.
