Job Summary

Seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee end-to-end delivery of IT initiatives within the healthcare or financial services domains. The ideal candidate has a strong background in enterprise IT project management, excellent leadership skills, and proven success in managing cross-functional teams in complex environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Delivery Management: Lead full lifecycle project delivery from planning through execution and closure ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary liaison between clients, internal teams, and vendors to ensure clear communication and alignment.
• Project Planning & Execution: Develop project charters, define scope, establish timelines, and manage daily execution. Adjust priorities as needed to meet goals.
• Risk & Issue Management: Identify and proactively address project risks, dependencies, and blockers to maintain progress.
• Budget Oversight: Track project budgets, control expenditures, and ensure adherence to financial guidelines.
• Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to all regulatory and compliance standards (HIPAA, FINRA, PCI-DSS) and internal quality processes.
• Team Leadership: Guide cross-functional teams and mentor junior project members, fostering collaboration and accountability.
• Client Communication: Maintain transparent and consistent client updates on status, milestones, and deliverables.
• Post-Implementation Support: Coordinate smooth handover to support and operations teams, ensuring all documentation and training are completed.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 12+ years of IT project management experience, preferably in healthcare or financial services.
• Methodologies: Strong proficiency in Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid project management practices.
• Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification preferred.
• Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of healthcare or financial regulations (HIPAA, FINRA, PCI-DSS).
• Technical Understanding: Familiarity with IT systems, software development, systems integration, and cloud technologies.
• Leadership & Communication: Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills with a track record of managing diverse teams.
• Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field. Master s degree or equivalent certification a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Healthcare IT systems (EMR/EHR, HIPAA-compliant platforms) or Financial Software Solutions (core banking, risk management, or financial reporting tools).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
