About the Role

This role is embedded in agile development teams and focuses on ensuring high-quality software releases by performing manual testing and collaborating closely with engineers and product owners.
This is a hands-on testing role in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have both strong testing skills and financial services experience, particularly in advisory, wealth management, or brokerage systems.

About the Role

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute manual test scripts and end-to-end test scenarios
- Document and track test results, defects, and retesting outcomes
- Collaborate with agile teams, including product owners and engineers, to define testing requirements
- Support the validation of new application features, enhancements, and workflows
- Participate in quality assurance activities throughout the development lifecycle
- Ensure attention to detail, accuracy, and completeness in all testing activities
- 2+ years of experience in business execution, implementation, or QA/testing
- Hands-on experience with manual testing in agile environments
- Familiarity with Jira or similar issue tracking and project management tools
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel for test documentation and reporting
- Ability to work effectively as part of a cross-functional team
- Experience in financial services, investment management, or brokerage systems
- Knowledge of advisory platforms, managed accounts, or trading workflows
- Exposure to automated testing tools such as Selenium or Playwright
- Familiarity with Octane or other test management platforms
- Work schedule: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
- Start target: Immediate / within the next month
- Interview process: One-round interview
- This is a contract project role, with potential extensions based on business needs
