Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Security Systems Installation Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of integrated security systems at customer sites. This includes cabling, field equipment, and control enclosures, all in compliance with the National Electric Code, as well as company and client standards.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Security Systems Installation Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of integrated security systems at customer sites. This includes cabling, field equipment, and control enclosures, all in compliance with the National Electric Code, as well as company and client standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and configure access control systems, CCTV, digital and network video recorders, intercoms, and related security equipment.
- Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, submittals, specifications, and technical manuals.
- Use electronic test equipment to diagnose and resolve complex installation issues.
- Ensure all installations meet regulatory, safety, and quality standards.
- Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high productivity and attention to detail.
- Maintain accurate documentation of installations and service activities.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure smooth project execution.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in installing and servicing CCTV, access control, alarm systems, and low-voltage cabling.
- Strong understanding of digital and analog camera systems.
- Experience with IP-based security devices and advanced TCP/IP networking.
- Familiarity with alarm systems, including burglar and fire alarms.
- Ability to analyze technical information and solve problems efficiently.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer literacy, including experience with word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
Preferred Experience:
- Hands-on experience with media storage systems and electronic security software.
- Any experience installing electrical systems
