The Regional Sales Manager will be located in the New England area with a territory consisting of: Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont and parts of New York.

Are You Our Next Regional Sales Manager?

Reporting directly to the Regional Sales Director - General Industry, this role will be instrumental in strengthening our relationships and driving growth within the territory.

Here's how you'll make an impact:
  • Strategic Partnerships: Sophisticated approach to strengthen solutions across our general industry clients through driving distribution, facilities and their suppliers, while driving profitable growth across your territory.
  • Account Development: Grow existing accounts and secure new partnerships, expanding Atlas Copco's market share across all portfolio offerings.
  • Business Planning: Develop and execute a sound business plan and activity roadmap tailored to your territory, while utilizing and leveraging tools such as Salesforce and PowerBI.
  • Sales Execution: Lead and drive all sales processes and strategies to meet targets.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Elevate customer satisfaction across all accounts within the defined territory with a responsive and solution-focused approach.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to align strategies, share insights, and support shared goals, ensuring that our efforts to drive growth and customer satisfaction are cohesive and well-supported.
  • Innovation Introduction: Be the ambassador for introducing new products to customers, showcasing customer-specific value.
  • Market Intelligence: Assess our business position in real-time to keep us ahead of the competition. Provide insights and feedback on product needs and competitor activity to our Product Marketing team.
To succeed, you will need
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, IT/Computer Science, Communications, or related field.
  • Sales Experience: Relevant sales experience (e.g. territory growth, account management or business development) with consistent KPI's preferred.
  • Technical Aptitude: Strong mechanical and technical understanding required to engage with customers effectively.
  • Travel-Ready: Willingness to travel up to 50% within the assigned region, including both domestic and international trips to support sales meetings, client engagement, and business forecasting activities; overnight travel may also be required based on business needs.
  • Presentation Skills: Strong communication skills with experience in product demonstrations a plus.
