Job Details

Responsible for leading the continual Agile transformation and practices as well as promoting accountability and transparency across all levels of the organization. Performs the role of scrum master for one or more teams, leading multiple, simultaneous initiatives of complex programs / release trains. Practices the core Agile principles of collaboration, support, prioritization, accountability, and continuous improvement. Facilitates sprint demos, planning, and retrospectives. Tracks and communicates team velocity and sprint/release progress. Provides status reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs), schedule, resources, and milestone delivery. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent* in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or Business Administration plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or 5 years of equivalent work experience in information technology or business environment. The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or Business Administration plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or 3 years of equivalent work experience in information technology or business environment in lieu of a Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of experience.

The position requires experience with: Scaled (SAFe) Agile framework: Demonstrated experience working in the SAFe Agile framework, especially in the Scrum Master role. Proficiency in Agile Tools: Demonstrated experience with one or more Agile Tools, specifically VersionOne. Technical understanding - Coding Basics: Demonstrated knowledge of basic coding concepts including variables, loops, and data structures, as well as database management (SQL queries and database operations). Technical Understanding - Software Development Basics: Demonstrated knowledge of software development lifecycles, version control tools such as Git, and continuous integration / continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices and tools such as Jenkins. Strong Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated experience with root cause analysis, decision-making, and implementation tools and methodologies (such as fishbone diagrams, cost-benefit analysis, and risk management). Position can telecommute from home from any location in the U.S.
