RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Topeka, KS that is looking for a ServiceNow Developer for a contract opportunity.
Summary:
The ServiceNow Developer specializing in CMDB, will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing a comprehensive CMDB within the ServiceNow platform. Your role will involve collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, configure the CMDB, and ensure data accuracy and integrity. You will also be responsible for integrating the CMDB with other ITSM processes and tools to enhance overall IT service management. Additionally, you will understand and implement the strategic vision behind building out the CMDB to align with organizational goals and objectives.
Responsibilities:
* ServiceNow Developer will design and develop a CMDB from scratch within the ServiceNow platform
* Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for CMDB implementation
* Configure and customize the ServiceNow CMDB module to meet business needs
* Integrate the CMDB with other ITSM processes such as Incident, Problem, Change, and Asset Management
* Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the CMDB by implementing data validation and reconciliation processes
* As a ServiceNow Developer, you will develop and maintain documentation for CMDB configurations, processes, and procedures
* Provide technical support and troubleshooting for CMDB-related issues
* Stay current with the latest advancements in ServiceNow and CMDB best practices
* Understand and implement the strategic vision behind building out the CMDB to align with organizational goals and objectives
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
* ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications preferred
* Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer with a focus on CMDB implementation
* Experience with ServiceNow Discovery and integration with third-party tools
* Strong understanding of ITIL framework and IT service management processes
* Proficiency in JavaScript, XML, HTML, and CSS for ServiceNow development
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
* Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Requirements:
* Experience with Generative AI technologies to enhance CMDB processes
* Experience with ServiceNow platform upgrades, patching, and migration strategies
* Knowledge of ServiceNow Performance Analytics and Reporting capabilities
* Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
