Job Details
Job Title: Mainframe Developer -W2 Only
Location: Clemson, SC
Duration: One Year contract with possibility of extensions.
Scope of the Project:This role involves providing backfill support for production systems and contributing to short-term projects as needed. The position requires close collaboration with customers, developers, operational teams, and QA staff, ensuring continuity and efficiency in Medicaid Services systems such as MMIS and MEDS.
Daily Duties and Responsibilities:- Collaborate with MMIS and MEDS teams to implement coding changes in COBOL and CA-ADS.
- Work with IDMS Network and/or IDMS Relational Databases based on technical and design specifications.
- Perform debugging, unit testing, and integration testing of code changes.
- Support QA, user acceptance, and external testing by making necessary code adjustments.
- Communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with Clemson staff and other contracted personnel to meet project goals.

Education & Experience:
- Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in computer systems development and modification
