Key Responsibilities
Strategic Program Oversight
Lead and own the full lifecycle of the Enterprise Architecture and Business Process Mapping program, from kickoff through final handoff and knowledge transfer.
Serve as the senior liaison between internal stakeholders, third-party consultants, and vendor partners.
Establish and maintain strong governance structures, including regular Steering Committee updates and weekly Core Team reviews.
Align program goals with enterprise priorities, ensuring outcomes are business-driven, measurable, and adaptable as new needs emerge.
Tooling Strategy and Implementation
Guide the evaluation and selection process for EA and BPM tools based on a defined set of technical and business requirements.
Collaborate with legal and procurement teams to negotiate tool license agreements and facilitate contract execution.
Coordinate the configuration of EA tools to support the TOGAF framework and ensure alignment with industry best practices.
Oversee integration planning and configuration of the EA/BPM tools to ensure seamless data flow between systems and processes.
Enterprise Architecture and Business Process Mapping
Oversee documentation of current-state IT systems, including applications, infrastructure, integrations, and data flows, using newly implemented EA tooling.
Coordinate the capture and mapping of both core business processes (e.g., site acquisition, design, construction, commissioning, operations) and functional processes (e.g., sales, HR, finance, legal, procurement, IT).
Guide efforts to overlay enterprise architecture insights with mapped business processes, enabling a clear view of current-state dependencies, redundancies, and opportunities.
Lead the development of system integration diagrams, security posture documentation, and high-level to detailed process hierarchies (Levels 1 3).
Collaborate with business process owners, IT application teams, and infrastructure SMEs to validate documentation and capture gaps, risks, and future-state aspirations.
Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration
Coordinate and conduct interviews and discovery sessions with subject matter experts, application and infrastructure owners, and executive leadership.
Facilitate cross-functional workshops to validate findings, co-create future-state roadmaps, and define transformation strategies.
Ensure alignment with other transformation and consulting initiatives being performed by third-party vendors, avoiding overlap and ensuring synergy across teams.
Lead the definition of RACI models for business process analysis and improvement efforts, ensuring clarity in accountability and ownership.
Analysis, Reporting, and Recommendations
Oversee analysis of current-state documentation to identify opportunities in application rationalization, infrastructure consolidation, and business process improvement.
Generate findings reports and business insights that highlight optimization opportunities and inform prioritization efforts.
Manage the creation of executive-ready documentation, visualizations, and communication materials to convey technical content in business-relevant terms.
Transformation Planning and Value Realization
Provide strategic leadership in identifying "quick wins" and high-impact opportunities for digital transformation.
Develop long-term transformation roadmaps (3-year horizon) for both IT architecture and business processes.
Guide the creation of robust business cases that outline ROI, KPIs, timeline, and cost projections for recommended initiatives.
Support the delivery of executive-level presentations and facilitate decision-making and approval processes for future investments.
Lead knowledge transfer and documentation hand-offs to ensure continuity beyond the engagement.
