As a Senior Data Analyst in the Omni Analytics Org, you will work with Sam s Club leadership to provide insights that help them to make better business decisions. You will
work with cross-functional partners such as data engineering, product management and other statistical analysts to create business intelligence solutions and guidance in the
team. Experience in Business Analytics, business intelligence, data engineering, data visualization skills are needed to be successful. The ideal candidate should be an
independent solution-oriented performer with excellent, executive level communication.
You ll make an impact by
Working with leadership/business partners to discuss and understand goals/functional objectives and key business challenges to develop hypotheses
around current and future business issues, identifying functional analytics and research objectives and developing tactical research plans.
Managing the creation of and presenting actionable recommendations to Senior leadership to contribute to business results.
Serving as a subject matter expert to business insights; Ensuring business needs are being met.
Understanding Data warehousing and BI Architecture for dynamic and real-time updates of dashboards
Managing the development and application of advanced analytics to address unique business and technical problems and supporting data-driven decision
making.
Delivering ongoing and accurate reporting of KPIs for Daily / Weekly Business Review reporting
Collaborating with Advanced Analytics Experts to develop new data analysis techniques.
Working with BI and Site Analytics team members to assist them in accessing and leveraging key data sets.
Defining SLA and acceptable time lags by data source, defining QA process, and socializing resolution process to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
Driving the execution of multiple business plans and projects
Leading and participating in medium- to large-scale, complex, cross-functional projects.

Preferred Qualifications
BA/BS Degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, any Engineering
discipline, and 10+ years of experience in relevant Data Engineering and Business
Intelligence platforms or master s degree in computer science, Business
Analytics, any Engineering discipline, Business Administration, and 8+ years in
relevant Data Engineering and Business Intelligence platforms experience.
Experience with Relational SQL and NoSQL databases, GBQ and Spark SQL
Advanced SQL & experience with working on large multidimensional data sets,
unstructured data.
Experience in Tableau, Power BI and Looker are required.
