About the Client
Our client is a leading utility provider in the energy sector with a strong presence in the Mid-Atlantic region. As the industry evolves-driven by initiatives like Grid Modernization, Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI), and Distribution Automation-there is a growing need for high-capacity, resilient communication networks.
Project Overview
To meet this demand, utilities are enhancing their internal communications infrastructure by deploying more redundant and resilient network backbones. Historically, the primary focus has been on power delivery, with less emphasis on maintaining and documenting internal device communication networks. As a result, many updates and MAC (Moves, Adds, and Changes) activities have not been consistently captured in documentation systems.
Role Summary
The organization is seeking a skilled Documentation Specialist to help address a backlog of network documentation and support ongoing MAC updates. This role will focus on updating and organizing network documentation and maps to ensure accuracy and consistency across internal systems.
