Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for an experienced Cloud Infrastructure/DevOps Engineer for a remote long-term contract / potential contract-to-hire assignment with one of our premier Management Consulting services clients in New York, NY. Candidates must have real production ownership experience and a strong background with infrastructure/IAC in a modern Cloud environment (Azure HIGHlY preferred). This team supports a high availability (and rapidly growing) platform used for Agentic AI application hosting.

Must-have technical skills:
- Cloud: Azure (primary), plus AWS/Google Cloud Platform or a combination.
- Terraform (expert) and Docker (expert); Helm and GitOps (Argo/Flux) are a plus.
- Kubernetes/AKS/EKS/GKE operations: provisioning, upgrades, autoscaling, networking, security.
- Observability & reliability: OpenTelemetry/PrometheGrafana/ELK/Splunk; incident response, SLO/SLI, RCA.
- Logging & monitoring, FinOps/cost optimization, and VPC/VNet networking (Private Link/Endpoints, Ingress, WAF).
- CI/CD pipelines: GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Bitbucket Pipelines (any combination); secrets management (Key Vault/SSM).
