Software Engineer

Job Title: Software Engineer Location: Salem, OR (97312) / Remote Option
Employment Type: 3+ Month W2 Contract (No C2C or sponsorship available)

About the Role:
Talent Groups is seeking a Software Engineer to build integrations between .NET applications and Guidewire ClaimCenter. This role involves working with APIs, FTP processes, and XML file transfers to connect applications and databases. You ll also work with legacy code to implement new functionality and support existing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, document, test, and maintain complex .NET applications
• Integrate APIs to send/receive data between systems
• Work with FTP/batch jobs to manage XML file transfers
• Troubleshoot and enhance legacy codebases
• Collaborate with BAs to gather requirements and design solutions
• Support QA efforts and promote engineering best practices
• Lead or contribute to projects using Agile and project management principles
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship as needed

What You Bring:

• 5+ years of software development experience
• Strong in .NET web apps, VB.NET, API development
• Guidewire ClaimsCenter experience
• Bachelor s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
