DevOps Engineer

***This is a Hybrid opportunity requiring the qualified professional to work onsite at least 3 days a week.***

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the smooth operation of the company's IT infrastructure


• Collaborate with Developers to deploy and manage code changes


• Work with the Operations staff to ensure the systems are up and running smoothly


• Influence the Application Architects within the Lines of Business (LoBs) to fulfill organizational goals and objectives


• Establish relationships with key technical and non-technical decision makers to drive long-term cloud adoption and develop impactful solutions


• Provide technical expertise and advice to application development teams to guide cloud adoption


• Design and publish standards for application patterns


• Forecast cloud consumption and establish cloud consumption patterns


• Establish metrics to guide LoB development organizations on cloud implementation best practices


• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of AWS, Python, and Terraform experience


• Deep understanding of both Development and Operations processes


• Experience with Vue.JS and Node.JS


• Strong technical background


• Expertise in providing technical advice for Cloud adoption


• Experience in designing and publishing standards for Application patterns


• Ability to forecast Cloud consumption and establish consumption patterns


• Strong understanding of Cloud Infrastructure standards and best practices


• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
