Job Details

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and support enterprise and cloud-based network infrastructures. The ideal candidate will ensure high availability, security, and performance of critical systems, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and resilient networking solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Implementation

  • Plan, configure, and deploy LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and cloud networking solutions.

  • Implement routing, switching, and firewall configurations to meet business requirements.

  • Participate in network architecture reviews, capacity planning, and solution design.

Operations & Support

  • Monitor and optimize network performance, availability, and utilization.

  • Troubleshoot complex connectivity issues, packet loss, and latency problems.

  • Provide L2/L3 escalation support for incidents and changes.

  • Maintain accurate network diagrams, technical documentation, and inventory.

Security & Compliance

  • Configure and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, NAC, and Zero Trust models.

  • Apply security patches, upgrades, and configuration hardening.

  • Partner with security teams to meet compliance standards (ISO 27001, NIST, etc.).

Collaboration & Projects

  • Support hybrid and multi-cloud networking (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).

  • Contribute to migration projects such as firewall replacements, SD-WAN rollouts, and datacenter moves.

  • Provide mentoring, knowledge transfer, and documentation for IT operations teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 3 7 years of hands-on experience as a Network Engineer.

  • Strong expertise in:

    • Routing & Switching: Cisco, Juniper, Arista (or equivalent).

    • Firewalls & Security: Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, Cisco ASA.

    • Wireless Technologies: Cisco Meraki, Aruba, etc.

    • Protocols: TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, QoS.

  • Experience with monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, etc.).

  • Familiarity with SD-WAN and cloud networking (AWS VPC, Azure VNets, Google Cloud Platform networking).

  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills.

  • Preferred certifications: CCNA/CCNP, JNCIP, PCNSE, NSE, AWS/Azure Networking Specialty.
