Birmingham, AL (Hybrid - 3 days onsite, 2 days remote), Atlanta, GA; Charlotte, NC; Nashville, TN (Remote for strong candidates starting, then will be asked to go onsite for a hybrid schedule)

Pay Rate: $50.00 to $56.00 per hr.
We are seeking a Digital Execution Analyst to support backend API testing and quality assurance in a dynamic Agile environment. This role will partner closely with developers and product owners to validate functionality, triage defects, and ensure a seamless digital customer experience. Candidates should have 3-5 years of QA experience, preferably in the banking or financial services industry, and be ready to contribute from day one

Primary Responsibilities
- Analyze user stories provided by Product Owners and create functional test cases
- Conduct backend/API testing using Postman; validate connectivity and data integrity
- Work in Agile (Scrum) teams; potential future exposure to Kanban
- Execute test cases in various environments (Dev, QA, LT) and track results
- Utilize tools such as JIRA (for story tracking) and Q-Test (for test management)
- Identify and log defects; write clear defect summaries and collaborate with developers on fixes
- Participate in defect triage, retesting, and test sign-off
- Collaborate with developers and product owners; occasional interaction with product managers
- Bachelor's degree and 2-5 years of related experience
- High School diploma or GED and 7 years of experience
- API / Backend Testing - Strong experience using Postman and interpreting Swagger documentation
- Agile Experience - Hands-on experience working in Scrum teams; familiarity with Kanban a plus
- Functional Testing / Test Case Execution - Ability to write test cases from user stories and execute across environments
- Strong analytical skills and communication abilities
- Self-starter comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-delivery Agile environment
- Experience with JIRA and Q-Test (training provided if needed)
- Prior work in financial institutions or banking tech teams
- Familiarity with CI/CD environments and testing APIs in integrated pipelines
