Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced PLM Consultant Windchill Specialist to support system migration and customization initiatives within the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) domain. This role requires deep expertise in Windchill, strong problem-solving skills, and hands-on experience in data migration, CAD integration, and workflow customization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver tailored PLM solutions.
- Support and enhance Windchill functionality including GUI customization, lifecycle workflows, and system configurations.
- Oversee and participate in the migration from non-Windchill systems to Windchill, including CAD data migration.
- Execute and optimize ETL processes to ensure clean and accurate data transfers.
- Develop utilities or scripts to support bulk migration activities using tools like Windchill Bulk Migrator.
- Leverage knowledge of Release Process, BOM Management, Change Management, and CAD Integration to ensure seamless PLM operations.
- Troubleshoot issues and provide support for PLM-related problems and enhancement requests.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 7+ years of IT experience with a strong focus on Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).
- Deep expertise in Windchill, including database and table architecture.
- Proficiency in ETL processes and CAD Migration.
- Working knowledge of Windchill Bulk Migration tools and development of supporting utilities.
- Strong understanding of:
- Release Process
- BOM Management
- Change Management
- CAD Integration
- Experience in workflow and GUI customization within Windchill.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
