DevOps Engineer (relocation Abu Dhabi)

EPAM is looking for a talented DevOps Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. You will work on a dynamic fintech project that is transforming digital financial services across the region.

In this role, you will contribute to building and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, deployment processes and automation workflows. You'll work primarily with Microsoft Azure, Terraform and CI/CD tools to ensure the scalability, security and reliability of fintech platforms. Collaborating closely with development and operations teams, you'll help optimize cloud-based solutions and support compliance standards critical to financial services.

This position requires working onsite in Abu Dhabi where you'll be part of a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build and maintain cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Azure services
• Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes
• Develop automation scripts (PowerShell, Python) to improve efficiency in fintech operations
• Optimize and troubleshoot Azure-based financial solutions
• Ensure adherence to security and compliance standards across systems and processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational practices and platform reliability
• Continuously learn new technologies and share knowledge within the team

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in DevOps engineering or system administration
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services
• Working knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI or Azure DevOps
• Scripting skills in PowerShell and Python
• Experience with Git and version control practices
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field

• Certifications such as Azure Fundamentals, Terraform or DevOps-related credentials
• Exposure to containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with monitoring and logging solutions
