Onsite or Remote? Candidates must be CURRENT WI residents. No relocation allowed. This position can work 100% remote (within the state of WI).

NOTE: DWD prefers that the selected hire resides in the greater Madison area. The contractor must be available to work onsite in DWD Madison WI headquarters GEF-1 location at DWD's request, including consecutive weekdays or extended periods, without reimbursement for travel, lodging, or parking expenses.

Project details: These 3 .NET Developers will be involved in the development and support of critical priority applications on the Benefits/Claimant side of Unemployment Insurance application processing.

Additional details: All service providers submitted with inconsistencies or falsifications in their credentials will be disqualified and DOA Purchasing will be notified. An in-person or live video interview will be required as part of our review process. Previous experience providing this service for government a plus, and experience with DWD's environments will be especially valuable.

Brief Project Description

This is a position needed for the development and support of critical priority applications in the Divisions of Unemployment Insurance. Project work will include: application design and development, new development and modifications to existing code. Successful candidates will have demonstrated success in designing, creating, and maintaining web services, system integration, web development, and Agile Scrum development methodology. Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis.

Microsoft .Net Web Developer capabilities with 12 or more years of experience, relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, independently performs a variety of complicated tasks, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
