Job Details

Top Required Skills & 3-5 Years of Experience:

       Prior experience in data warehousing or reporting projects (3-5 years)

       Strong written and verbal communication skills, including meeting facilitation skills.

       Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently

       Possess a fundamental understanding of end-to-end customer dashboard use integration and dependencies

       Experience preparing business requirements and functional specifications

       Experience writing user stories with clearly defined acceptance criteria

       Ability to estimate phases of work and contribute to project planning, including experience writing user stories with clearly defined acceptance criteria.

       Experience using relational databases (writing queries, etc.) using SQL Server

       Ability to create test plans and perform application, reporting and system regression tests

       Ability to synthesize requirements and work with developers to create options/recommendation papers for decisions to be made by any stakeholder level.

Required Technical Skills:

      Ability to work with both business/program area owners and translating their needs to developers.

      Experience using Azure DevOps or similar tools to manage user stories and sprint backlogs.

      Experience using relational databases (writing queries, etc.) using SQL Server

      Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric and Power BI reporting solutions.

Preferred Experience:

      Minimum 2-5 years’ experience using Agile/Scrum Development Methodology

      Experience working with education software or reporting systems at the school, district, or state levels.

      Knowledge of data warehousing and reporting in the education sector (K-12/P20W).

      Experience using Asana to track and report on project milestones.

Nice to Have Skills:

       Ability to synthesize requirements and work with developers to create options/recommendation papers for decisions to be made by any stakeholder level.
