Job Details

Top Required Skills & 3-5 Years of Experience:

●       Prior experience in data warehousing or reporting projects (3-5 years)

●       Strong written and verbal communication skills, including meeting facilitation skills.

●       Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently

●       Possess a fundamental understanding of end-to-end customer dashboard use integration and dependencies

●       Experience preparing business requirements and functional specifications

●       Experience writing user stories with clearly defined acceptance criteria

●       Ability to estimate phases of work and contribute to project planning, including experience writing user stories with clearly defined acceptance criteria.

●       Experience using relational databases (writing queries, etc.) using SQL Server

●       Ability to create test plans and perform application, reporting and system regression tests

●       Ability to synthesize requirements and work with developers to create options/recommendation papers for decisions to be made by any stakeholder level.

Required Technical Skills:

●      Ability to work with both business/program area owners and translating their needs to developers.

●      Experience using Azure DevOps or similar tools to manage user stories and sprint backlogs.

●      Experience using relational databases (writing queries, etc.) using SQL Server

●      Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric and Power BI reporting solutions.

Preferred Experience:

●      Minimum 2-5 years’ experience using Agile/Scrum Development Methodology

●      Experience working with education software or reporting systems at the school, district, or state levels.

●      Knowledge of data warehousing and reporting in the education sector (K-12/P20W).

●      Experience using Asana to track and report on project milestones.

Nice to Have Skills:

●       Ability to synthesize requirements and work with developers to create options/recommendation papers for decisions to be made by any stakeholder level.
