Description

We are looking for a dedicated Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team in Oklahoma City. In this role, you will be responsible for safeguarding the organization's IT infrastructure by identifying, analyzing, and mitigating cybersecurity threats. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in security monitoring tools and a proactive approach to ensuring data and asset protection.

Responsibilities:

Monitor and interpret security alerts and logs from tools such as managed detection and response systems to identify potential threats.

Investigate and respond to potential security incidents, escalating critical issues as needed.

Manage vulnerability assessments, including scanning, analysis, and remediation efforts.

Document security events and incidents, ensuring accurate and comprehensive reporting.

Conduct regular security assessments and provide actionable recommendations to address weaknesses.

Collaborate with IT teams to maintain secure configurations for firewalls, endpoint protection systems, and network security.

Deliver cybersecurity awareness training to staff, emphasizing threat recognition and safe practices.

Requirements

3 +years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security roles.

Proficiency with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools.

Hands-on experience with Cisco Firewall configurations and management

Strong knowledge of endpoint protection systems and their role in securing IT environments.

Familiarity with vulnerability management processes, including scanning and remediation.

Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST.

Excellent communication skills for delivering security training and collaborating with teams.
