Location: onsite at Albany, NY

Job Type: Long-term Contract

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAN Consultant with over 10 years of hands-on experience in Storage Area Networks (SAN) to support enterprise storage infrastructure for our client in Albany, NY. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAN administration, Linux environments, and cloud-based storage solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and manage enterprise-level SAN storage solutions
Perform storage provisioning, performance tuning, capacity planning, and troubleshooting
Administer and support Linux-based systems integrated with SAN environments
Work with cloud storage platforms and hybrid storage architectures
Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and data protection strategies
Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams
Provide support for storage migrations, upgrades, and modernization initiatives
Create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures

Required Skills & Experience:
10+ years of experience working with SAN technologies
Strong hands-on experience with SAN storage (Fibre Channel, iSCSI, zoning, LUNs)
Solid experience in Linux system administration
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) and cloud storage services
Knowledge of storage performance monitoring and troubleshooting
Experience in enterprise data center environments
