We are looking for a Sr. Electrical Engineer, to join our Data Center Engineering team supporting Apple Data Center builds. This team supports data center design, construction, testing, commissioning, and operations. This is a fast-moving, dynamic environment where flexibility and resourcefulness are key attributes needed for success.
Description As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the electrical subject area design effort for large data center projects during the design process, permitting, construction administration, commissioning and providing engineering support to the facility operations team after the data center is in production. Responsibilities Review EOR design drawings and vendor shop drawings Develop training programs and provide training and mentorship to employees Liaise with leaders and provide support and accurate information to multiple levels of management Handle ambiguity in problem definition, have a good handle on business value and have the initiative to craft problems and projects so that they deliver maximum impact

Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $172,100 and $258,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Minimum Qualifications
- BS in Electrical Engineering or a related field or equivalent job-related experience
- 5+ years experience in Power Systems focusing on low to high voltage
- Ability to travel
Preferred Qualifications
- 10+ Years of experience as a power systems design engineer
- Large data center design and project management experience
- Proven ability to design large power, protection and control systems
- Selective coordination and available fault current study experience
- High voltage substation protection and design experience
- Generator control and protection experience
- Experience with low voltage EPMS and BMS systems
- Fluent and effective communication skills
