Job Summary:
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hybrid environment of legacy systems and modern cloud platforms, with a strong focus on reliability, performance, and secure data operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain the reliability, performance, and integrity of MySQL database systems in production.
• Manage and enhance PHP-based integrations with external systems including Zoho, WordPress, and internal SaaS platforms.
• Design, implement, and monitor automated ETL workflows, data pipelines, and synchronization jobs.
• Collaborate on long-term data architecture planning, including potential Azure-based data warehouse solutions (e.g., Synapse, Azure SQL, Data Factory).
• Proactively detect and resolve performance bottlenecks, sync failures, and schema inconsistencies.
• Enforce best practices for database security, access control, backup, and disaster recovery.
• Support reporting, compliance, and data validation initiatives.
• Document system architecture, data flows, and integration logic for internal knowledge sharing.

Required Technical Skills:

• Proven experience managing MySQL in production environments.
• Proficiency in PHP, especially for maintaining and enhancing legacy integration scripts.
• Familiarity with Microsoft environments including Windows Server, Azure Active Directory, and PowerShell.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and webhook-driven integrations.
• Hands-on experience with Azure services such as Azure SQL, Blob Storage, and Data Factory.
• Strong skills in query optimization, index tuning, and schema management with minimal downtime.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with Zoho CRM, Billing, or Desk APIs.
• Understanding of WordPress database structures and plugin integrations.
• Familiarity with Git, Power BI, and Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Exposure to cloud data warehouse platforms like Azure Synapse, Snowflake, or Redshift.
• Scripting experience in Python for ETL workflows or data manipulation.
• Knowledge of Microsoft’s broader data stack (e.g., SSIS, ADF, SQL Server).
• Awareness of modern full-stack environments (e.g., Next.js, Tailwind CSS, TypeScript, Drizzle ORM, Zod).

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
