Job Title: DevOps Engineer (AWS)
Location: Austin, TX Hybrid
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, cloud-native architectures using AWS services.
- Build, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to enable automated testing and deployments.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform and AWS Cloud Formation.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and observability solutions to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to improve workflows and enforce DevOps best practices.
- Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual effort and improve scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
- Support high-availability, fault-tolerant, and secure cloud environments.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 8+ years of strong hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, and VPC.
- 8+ years of experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
- 8+ years of expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation.
- 8+ years of hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
- 8+ years of experience with monitoring and logging tools such as AWS Cloud Watch, Prometheus, and ELK stack.
- Strong knowledge of Linux system administration, scripting (Python, Bash), and version control systems (Git).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with observability and visualization tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.
- Knowledge of performance tuning, scalability, and high-availability architectures.
- Experience designing and supporting serverless architectures and event-driven workflows.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
