About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Software Engineer to join our team and take a leadership role in the design, development, and optimization of our ServiceNow platform. This position requires deep expertise in the ServiceNow ecosystem, including configuration, development, and integration work, along with a strong ability to mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Platform Leadership: Serve as a technical leader for the ServiceNow platform, overseeing architecture decisions, best practices, and overall platform governance.
Solution Design & Development: Design, develop, and maintain complex workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and integrations within ServiceNow.
Module Expertise: Lead implementations and enhancements across key ServiceNow modules (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, HRSD, TSM, TNI, WSD, GRC).
Integration: Design and develop secure integrations with third-party applications using REST, SOAP, MID servers, and integration hubs.
Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentoring to junior developers and admins, conducting code reviews and promoting development standards.
Collaboration: Work closely with product owners, business analysts, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable ServiceNow solutions.
Platform Optimization: Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for optimization, automation, and continuous improvement.
Compliance: Ensure all solutions meet security and compliance requirements, including audit trails, access control, and change management protocols.
Required Qualifications
10+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
Deep knowledge of JavaScript, Glide API, and ServiceNow scripting (client-side and server-side).
Proven experience implementing and customizing core modules (e.g., Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, Service Catalog, Knowledge, Discovery).
Experience integrating ServiceNow with other platforms and tools (e.g., Active Directory, Azure, Jira, Splunk, Salesforce).
Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer.
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator.
Experience with Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, App Engine Studio, or custom app development.
Knowledge of ITIL v4 principles and practices.
Experience in Telecom domain
