We have a long-term contract position for a Structured Cabling Network Engineer in Richmond, VA

Position Title: Cable Network Engineer
Location: Richmond, VA
Interview Process: In-person
Position Type: Contract
Required/Desired Experience:
- Experience in data and telecommunications to include installing, testing, and inspecting deployed communications systems.
- Experience in Installation, maintenance, and support of critical, multi-site networks.
- Knowledge of wire-line and wireless, including fiber optics, T1, DS-3, MPLS, cellular technologies, CDMA, TDMA, VoIP, 5G, TCP/IP, UDP, ICMP, IP Networks
- Working knowledge of networking tools, such as; Fluke Versiv with light meter, netAlly AirCheck G3, netAlly nXG, iperf3, nmap, wireshark, traceroute, Highly desired
- Intermediate skills in using Microsoft Office products, Outlook, Word, Excel, and Visio.
- Experience testing copper and fiber.
