Location: Columbia, SC (100% Onsite)
Duration: 12 Months (Possible 36-Month Extension)

Job Overview:
The State of South Carolina is seeking a seasoned SAP Change Management Consultant to support and enhance the Statewide SAP environment. The consultant will evaluate current change management processes, recommend improvements, implement tools, and train teams on best practices.
This role is a part of a rebid for a 36-month renewal project, and the hiring team is seeking additional applicants to evaluate for this long-term opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:

Assess existing SCEIS SAP change management processes and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.

Collaborate with technical and functional teams to align change processes with current tools and industry best practices.

Evaluate SAP Solution Manager and other related change management tools to identify the most suitable solutions.

Configure tools to support and streamline the approved change management processes.

Document both functional and technical aspects of the change management framework.

Conduct training sessions for internal SCEIS teams on newly implemented processes.

Request for Change (RFC)

SAP System Upgrades

SAP OSS Note Installations

SAP Support Pack Installations
Required Skills & Experience:
-
5+ years of experience in SAP software analysis, design, and development
-
5+ years working with SAP ECC, SRM, and BW
-
5+ years of experience in managing SAP upgrades, applying OSS Notes, and installing support packs

Familiarity with SAP change management tools such as Solution Manager or other similar platforms
Preferred Skills:
-
Experience working in SAP Public Sector environments

Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and SQL database technologies

Proficiency with MS Office tools: Word, Excel, Visio, and Project
Educational Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field
OR -
5+ years of equivalent professional experience in lieu of a degree
