Job Details

Location & Work Arrangement

  • Location: Columbia, South Carolina
  • Work Arrangement: 100% Remote
  • Contract: This is a Contract position.
  • Mode of Interview: 1 round, virtual.

Core Responsibilities

  • Legacy Modernization: Lead the modernization of legacy computer systems, primarily targeting migration to the ASP.Net MVC or CORE environment.
  • Development: Perform complex programming, including design architecture, configuration, writing, testing, and documentation for agency computer systems.
  • Security & Compliance: Modify existing systems to be compliant with state and agency security requirements and standards, including addressing data security practices for PI and PHI.
  • Migration Support: Assist with the migration and modification of systems from older to newer platform environments, including updating database connection strings from DB2 to SQL database.
  • Reporting: Focus reporting functionality using Microsoft RDLC, SSRS, and O365 PowerBi.
  • System Health: Diagnose, isolate, and debug software problems; monitor system capacity and performance; and provide Tier 2 technical support to ensure maximum system uptime.
  • Project Leadership: Ability to plan, organize, review, and implement associated project milestones to completion and provide updates to the Project Team.

Education

  • Required Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant field of work or equivalent work experience.
