Job Title: Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst

Program Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to support the implementation of a large-scale public health data solution. This role is critical for ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and overall quality of the platform. The QA Analyst will collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and the QA manager to validate system functionality, safeguard data integrity, track issues, and contribute to continuous product improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, execute, and document detailed test plans and test cases for new and existing software features.
Perform functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT) across multiple workstreams, with a focus on data validation and integrity.
Test system configurations, workflows, and integrations with external data sources.
Validate system security and privacy across roles and permissions.
Log, track, and manage defects using Zephyr and Jira, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication with development teams.
Maintain clear, comprehensive testing documentation and records.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to support UAT and ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
Provide actionable feedback to improve product usability, performance, and reliability.
Stay up to date with QA best practices, tools, and emerging testing approaches, including opportunities for test automation.
Qualifications:
Required:
2 4 years of professional experience in software quality assurance or testing (or equivalent training/education).
Experience in test planning, execution, and defect management.
Strong attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment while maintaining strong team collaboration.
Willingness and capacity to quickly learn new systems, tools, and processes.
Preferred:
Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
Experience testing web-based applications and APIs.
Experience with data validation across integrated systems.
Experience in Salesforce testing (configuration, workflows, and integrations).
Hands-on experience with Zephyr and Jira for test management and defect tracking.
Familiarity with public health, healthcare, or government IT projects.
Work Environment:
Full-time hybrid position combining on-site collaboration with remote work.
Requires reliable internet connection and participation in virtual meetings.
Attendance at periodic in-person meetings and workshops required.
