LinTech Global Inc. is recruiting for a Cybersecurity Engineer 2 (Team Lead) to support our contract at the USAMRIID in FT. Detrick, MD.

Target Salary: $100K

Position Overview:

The Cybersecurity Engineer 2 (Team Lead) serves as the primary liaison between the Government COR/TCOR and contract cybersecurity personnel, ensuring clear communication, effective coordination, and alignment with Army and DoD cybersecurity standards. This role is responsible for overseeing cybersecurity operations, maintaining compliance with applicable regulations and policies, and providing leadership and technical direction to the team.

Job Duties:
  • Serve as the primary communication channel between the Government COR/TCOR and contract cybersecurity personnel.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with other Team Leads to resolve technical and operational issues.
  • Oversee daily cybersecurity operations to ensure compliance with Army, DoD, and organizational policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Manage and supervise cybersecurity personnel, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance oversight.
  • Ensure all cybersecurity team members maintain required baseline and computing environment certifications in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M.
  • Maintain accurate records of cybersecurity training, certifications, and personnel readiness.
  • Support incident response activities and provide leadership during cybersecurity threats or attacks.
  • Monitor, maintain, and review audit and data logs to ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and regulations.
  • Ensure implementation and adherence to cybersecurity policies, directives, and security controls.
  • Provide on-call support during non-business hours to respond to cybersecurity issues or incidents.
  • Coordinate with government and contractor stakeholders to ensure timely communication, reporting, and issue resolution.
  • Stay current with emerging cybersecurity technologies, threats, and Army policy updates to ensure the team's capabilities remain effective and compliant.


Leadership & Communication:
  • Proven ability to lead and develop cybersecurity teams in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills to serve as the liaison between government and contractor personnel.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities under pressure.

Technical Skills:
  • The Candidate should have experience conducting security and risk assessments using NIST. RMF, DOD frameworks.
  • Familiarity using ServiceNow for generating and managing tickets
  • Proactively create, monitor and update the status of Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) in EMASS to ensure weaknesses are resolved in accordance with their scheduled completion dates.
  • Experience with NIST 800-53 certification and accreditation process
  • Knowledge of Assessment & Authorization (A&A) processes and ATO package development
  • Must have experience assisting with the execution, analysis, and remediation activities for the vulnerability management program using the Nessus and Tenable-ACAS Vulnerability scanning tools.
  • Experience with The Risk Management Framework
  • Experience with IAVA/ IAVM review and handling
  • Experience with Interpreting Security Scan results
  • Knowledge of Hardware/software security implementation


Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in cybersecurity operations, system administration, or network security, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Certifications: IAT II/CompTIA Security+ ce Certification is Required to Start
  • Security Clearance: A Secret Security Clearance is required to Start
