Description
We are looking for a skilled EDI Analyst to join our team in Randolph, Massachusetts. In this Contract-to-Permanent position, you will play a vital role in managing and optimizing EDI transactions while ensuring seamless communication between internal teams and trading partners. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute your expertise in logistics and transportation processes within a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
Manage and monitor EDI transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely processing of files.
Collaborate with trading partners and internal teams to address and resolve EDI-related issues.
Work with ANSI X12 standards and other EDI transaction sets such as 204, 214, and 210.
Utilize software tools like Sterling B2B Integrator and File Gateway to configure and manage EDI processes.
Analyze and interpret business requirements to develop effective EDI solutions.
Identify and troubleshoot issues in the EDI environment, implementing resolutions promptly.
Ensure compliance with established procedures, policies, and deadlines in all EDI operations.
Provide support for configuration management and documentation of EDI processes.
Facilitate effective communication with team members and external partners to maintain operational efficiency.
Requirements
Proficiency in Excel is essential for success in this role.
Familiarity with transportation and logistics processes is highly desirable.
Experience with EDI software tools like Sterling B2B Integrator and Gentran is preferred.
Knowledge of common EDI documents such as 204, 214, and 210 is a plus.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and external trading partners.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.
Capacity to perform under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
