We are seeking a Technology Manager for Digital Identity & Infrastructure Safety to join Zions Bancorporation. The Technology Manager plays a key role in leading our IT Infrastructure teams in key fields such as:
  • Server patching, vulnerability analysis
  • Domain name system administration, including DNS, DHCP, and IP address management
  • Certificate lifecycle management and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)

As a manager, you will be responsible for managing employee performance and development for your staff. You will establish, monitor, and ensure achievement of department goals and objectives. You will set and participate in formal Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and ensure proper documentation of policies and procedures for operational and regulatory requirements.

You will work with infrastructure leaders and engineers, architecture teams, information security teams, banking system owners, and other technology stakeholders to build relationships, improve efficiency levels, centralize and improve processes, support and deliver mission-critical services. Through those partnerships, you will help to evolve our maturity broadly in disciplines such as cloud enablement, system stability, industry compliance, and automation.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the team in support of critical business functions to meet organizational objectives.
  • Guide the team toward a journey to cloud principles and cloud-based infrastructure solutions.
  • Cultivate relationships with all stakeholders including business, technology, risk, supply chain and operations.
  • Ensure the team has the needed technical skills, competencies, business domain expertise, process knowledge, industry sector knowledge, and capacity to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
  • Manage vendor relationships, as needed, ensuring the vendors' performance and contributions align with organizational objectives and strategy.
  • Manage the total cost of ownership of the team including needed hardware, software, FTE and contractors, and professional services (responsible for P&L of cost center).
  • Serve as Product Owner/Project Manager (POPM) through Agile/Kanban-style value delivery system.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Business Administration, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field and 6+ years' experience in a directly related field. A combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; must be able to communicate effectively with senior business and technical management, vendors, and team members.
  • Experience interacting with technology vendors, including contract analysis and license management.
  • Organizing team artifacts, projects, and work queues
  • Producing, publishing, and distributing operational reports pertaining to the status of products and processes
  • Analyzing and interpreting data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities
  • Ability to solve problems and review, analyze, and evaluate technical processes and procedures
  • Exposure to both waterfall and agile delivery methodologies
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements in technology, for example; GLBA, SOX, PCI-DSS, NIST Cybersecurity Framework
