Job Title : AWS to OCI Migration
Location : NY
We are seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to lead and execute the migration of workloads and services from Amazon Web Services AWS to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure OCI The ideal candidate will have handson experience in cloud architecture migration strategies and automation with a strong understanding of both AWS and OCI platforms
Key Responsibilities
Assess existing AWS infrastructure and design equivalent or optimized OCI architecture
Develop and execute detailed migration plans including timelines risk assessments and rollback strategies
Perform workload migration including compute storage databases networking and security configurations
Collaborate with application teams to ensure compatibility and performance postmigration
Implement automation using Terraform Ansible or OCI Resource Manager
Monitor and troubleshoot postmigration issues and optimize OCI resources for cost and performance
Document migration processes architecture diagrams and operational runbooks
Ensure compliance with security and governance policies throughout the migration lifecycle
Required Skills Qualifications
5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure management and migration
Strong expertise in AWS services EC2 S3 RDS IAM VPC etc and OCI services Compute BlockObject Storage Networking IAM etc
Experience with cloud migration tools and methodologies eg CloudEndure OCI Migration tools
Proficiency in scripting and automation Python Shell Terraform Ansible
Familiarity with DevOps practices and CICD pipelines
Excellent problemsolving and communication skills
OCI and AWS certifications are a plus
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with hybrid cloud environments and multicloud strategies
Knowledge of database migration Oracle MySQL PostgreSQL
Understanding of cloud cost optimization and billing models
