Pay Range: $60 - $70

Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid)
Duration: 12 - 24 months Contracts
Responsibilities:
- Establish standards for using Dremio.
- Develop reports and reporting capabilities using Dremio.
- Transition workflows from SQL Server to a new framework using Apache Parquet and Apache Iceberg.
- Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering.
- Review and analyze multifaceted, larger-scale Software Engineering challenges.
- Collaborate strategically with client personnel to meet deliverables and compliance requirements.
- 5 to 7 years of development experience on prior Business Intelligence (BI) projects.
- 2+ years of BI visualization/reporting experience with tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- 2 years of SQL experience.
- Prior banking experience.
- Experience working in Agile environments
Desired Skills:
- Experience with Apache Iceberg, Dremio, Apache Parquet, and Spark.
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Power BI reporting.
- Prior Capital Markets experience.
- Lead experience on BI projects to train and mentor others.
- 5 to 7 years of BI development experience.
- 5 years of BI visualization experience with Tableau or Power BI.
- 2 years of SQL experience.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- Dremio experience (highly preferred)
