RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Project Manager in Houston, TX.
Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the replacement of an existing land management platform. This initiative may also involve integrating additional related systems. The goal is to streamline operations by eliminating data duplication, enhancing reporting capabilities, and automating manual processes such as payments, approvals, and data uploads. A key objective is to implement a solution that integrates with GIS technology to improve overall land management workflows. Beyond this primary project, the candidate may support additional technology initiatives aligned with similar responsibilities.
The Project Manager will oversee the full project lifecycle-from planning and vendor coordination to implementation and post-launch support-ensuring alignment between technical solutions and business objectives while following established project management methodologies.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
* PMP certification preferred
* 6-8 years of proven experience managing complex, multi-faceted projects
* Strong expertise in project planning, execution, risk management, and resource coordination
* Proficiency in both Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies
* Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
* Skilled in the use of project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps (TFS), Microsoft Office Suite, and Visio
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the capacity to handle shifting priorities and make informed decisions under pressure
* Demonstrated ability to build and lead cross-functional project teams, utilizing both internal resources and external vendors
* Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions, maintaining alignment throughout the project lifecycle
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
