Challenging, fast-paced, team environment working on Secure Virtual Desktop Infrastructure solution

for client, The types of projects the subject expert will focus on include expertise for design and development of a CUI VDI environment,

Windows systems and images, technical and engineering support, and one-on-one training to identified

System Administrators.

A mid-senior level Citrix VDI Architect will be responsible for providing level 2 and level 3 technical

support for the Citrix/XenApp server environment. This position will analyze and evaluate major system

project requirements of considerable complexity, requiring a thorough understanding of all parameters

affecting and interfacing with the system. Review user requirements and provide direction in the

identification of the problem and potential resolution. Provide analytical support in the

conceptualization, development, and implementation of complex, multiple interlinked systems. Define

system objectives and prepare system design specifications to meet user requirements and address

interface problems.

Duties/Responsibilities

Provide Level 2 and Level 3 technical support for Citrix/XenApps server environments.

Monitor VDI platforms using client tools such as NetScaler and ControlUP

Support VDI End-User Sessions

Support the VDI Stack

Provide Level 2 management and technical support for virtual infrastructure.

Ensure virtual sessions are operational and stable.

Handle IT-VDI-related requests or inquiries from the client helpdesk.

Ensure all Citrix platform servers are patched and updated.

Support XenDesktop Broker with VDI monitoring and alerting.

Support Citrix/VMware applications for virtualized desktop/application delivery.

Maintain high levels of client satisfaction for supported products/solutions.

Respond to technical questions related to VDI and Citrix

Participate in client meetings and provide technical updates.

Act as a technical Subject Matter Expert within the VDI/Citrix environment.

Deploy and support core Microsoft services: AD

Use advanced testing tools.

Demonstrate strong technical experience with Citrix XenDesktop

Demonstrate strong technical experience with Citrix XenServer

Demonstrate strong technical experience with Microsoft Windows infrastructure.

Work effectively in a team environment.

Perform workflow analysis.

Collaborating on technical problem-solving with clients

Apply best practices to ensure maximum production performance.

Provide one-on-one training to team members.

Education and Certification

Bachelor s degree in technical, business, healthcare, or related field.

5+ years of professional experience supporting large-scale enterprise Windows environments,

including Citrix VDI systems.

Required Experience

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Experience with Citrix XenApp environments

Skilled in VMware administration and Microsoft Windows Server management

Proficient in Citrix App Layering for optimized application delivery

Demonstrated ability to train and support team members effectively.

Highly adaptable and flexible in fast-paced technical environments

Self-driven with excellent technical troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities

Preferred Experience

Citrix Administration Certification

Ability to effectively communicate with large or small groups of people through written or spoken

communication.

Ability to analyze, use structured problem solving and available tools to troubleshoot systems in a

critical environment, identify root cause, create action plans, and resolve issues.

Ability to plan a large, complex undertaking and effectively focus the efforts of a group to execute the

plan for the infrastructure implementation of systems.

Must be an initiative-taker demonstrating the willingness to address/resolve ambiguity and conflict

within a complex VDI environment.

Develop updating processes and collaborate with team members to maintain currency in the VDI
