We are urgently seeking a highly experienced ETL Administrator to join the Data Integration team. This is an onshore contract position requiring strong hands-on expertise in Informatica administration and related tools. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day ETL operations, upgrades, migrations, and production support activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and support Informatica PowerCenter 10.5.1, PowerExchange CDC, Informatica IDMC, and IBM DataStage / Infosphere.
- Perform ETL tool upgrades, code deployments, migratio
- ns , and environment maintenance.
- Handle production support, including on-call rotation, issue resolution, and performance tuning.
- Coordinate with offshore and onshore teams, DBA teams, Unix/server teams for service restarts, reboots, and patching.
- Ensure smooth execution of critical data integration workflows and CDC processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
Required Skills:
- 8 10+ years of experience in ETL administration.
- Strong expertise in:
- Informatica PowerCenter
Power Exchange CDC
- Informatica IDMC
- IBM DataStage / Infosphere(Minimal Experience)
Experience with Unix/Linux environments, shell scripting, and server-level coordination.
- Proven ability to manage upgrades, migrations, and production deployments.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills across multiple teams.
Additional Information:
- This is a critical onshore role
- Immediate availability is preferred.
- Must be flexible with work hours and on-call support.
Works on and may serve as technical leader on large complex systems development projects.
Responsible for the resolution of complex systems and programming problems.
Applies the highest level technical skill and expertise or project/team leadership to highly complex projects and problems.
Requires exceptional expertise in development and detailed knowledge of industry trends. Competent at the highest technical level, understands whole systems architecture, has multi-systems knowledge and background. Possesses full systems development expertise and is considered the application expert. Develops and trains less experienced technical staff.
Operates under deadlines with multiple project responsibility.
Demonstrated ability to analyze technical information evaluate products, services and vendors, and make recommendations.
Exceptional technical, logical, analytical, and problem solving skills.
Experience working within a structured project methodology environment.
Experience in ETL Development, DataStage Development, UNIX, DB2 UDB required. Experience as a Programmer Analyst or Systems Analyst. Demonstrated project leadership skills and/or a high degree of specialized expertise.
