Job Title: Senior .NET Developer
Location: Austin, TX | Houston, TX | San Antonio, TX
Onsite only. Texas local candidates required.

Role Overview
This is a senior-level engineering role focused on designing, building, and maintaining high-impact web applications. The role requires deep hands-on expertise across .NET technologies, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams in an onsite environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement complex web-based applications using ASP.NET, Blazor, C#, MVC, and SQL
Conduct research, analysis, and solution design for advanced front-end and back-end components
Write, test, debug, and document enterprise-grade applications including client-server and web platforms
Enhance application performance, scalability, and user experience using modern .NET and web technologies
Provide ongoing support for Texas Department of Agriculture applications, including issue diagnosis and resolution
Partner closely with developers, business analysts, and project leadership to validate requirements and model technical solutions
Identify risks, recommend process improvements, and contribute to continuous delivery best practices
Perform additional duties as assigned based on project needs
Required Skills and Experience
7+ years of senior-level software development and web programming experience
7+ years working with C#, .NET Framework, MVC, and SQL Server
7+ years designing and developing web and Windows applications using HTML, HTML5, ASP.NET Blazor, JavaScript, CSS, and SQL
7+ years of API, web service, and web application automation focused on functionality and performance
5+ years using Azure DevOps and AWS DevOps
5+ years working in Agile development environments
Preferred Experience
Prior experience with Washington D.C. Office of the Special Superintendent of Education OSSE Orchard application
